In the form of a "great futurist variety" we are presenting 14 scenes, with a prologue and epilogue, featuring 28 musicians, 14 performers and two robots: one representing the ghost-machine of Depero, the other an agent and dancer on stage.
How would the "proto-designer" Depero have remade his Balli Plastici?
And how can you re-visit and remake something which left no trace?
We indirectly asked the artist himself, through the use of a "machine", in this liberal incursion of Depero's Plastic Theatre where we actually imagine a robot/machine centre stage.
It is a kind of vocal assistant using artificial intelligence to enable it to answer the questions asked throughout the performance.
In this way, our desire was to create the chance to put on a "Great Futurist Variety". An imaginary kaleidoscope of figures within a highy technological setting, achieving a more expressive and emotional result which accurately represents and communicates those signs and symbols typical of its original author.
The twelve pieces of music are performed from the original score used, as they had been composed by the four composers.

I'll start to fear those who copy me" Fortunato Depero
