Romanzo d’infanzia nasce dal sodalizio artistico di Letizia Quintavalla, Bruno Stori, Michele Abbondanza e Antonella Bertoni, pluripremiato e acclamato in Italia e all’estero da più di 20 anni, con oltre 700 repliche. 

E’ uno spettacolo in cui il linguaggio del teatro-danza, si propone in una formula più narrativa ed immediata in modo da renderlo fruibile anche dai bambini. 

Questo lavoro parla del disagio infantile all’interno dei rapporti primari-affettivi, della violenza fisica e psicologica che l’infanzia subisce a casa o nelle istituzioni, del delitto di non ascoltare i propri figli, di colpe senza colpevoli.

In scena due danzatori che si alternano tra essere genitori e figli e poi di nuovo padre e figlio e madre e figlia e poi fratelli, sì, soprattutto fratelli, e alternano il subire e il ribellarsi e fuggire e difendere e proteggersi e scappare e tornare e farsi rapire per sempre senza ritorni: insomma vivere.
Una dedica a tutti coloro che non possono fare a meno dell’amore.

Romanzo d'infanzia is the result of the artistic partnership of Letizia Quintavalla, Bruno Stori, Michele Abbondanza and Antonella Bertoni, which has been award-winning and acclaimed in Italy and abroad for more than 20 years, with more than 700 performances. 

It is a show in which the language of dance-theater, is proposed in a more narrative and immediate formula so as to make it usable even by children. 

This work speaks of childhood discomfort within primary-affective relationships, of the physical and psychological violence that childhood suffers at home or in institutions, of the crime of not listening to one's children, of guiltless blame.

On stage two dancers who alternate between being parents and children and then again father and son and mother and daughter and then siblings, yes, especially siblings, and alternate between suffering and rebelling and fleeing and defending and protecting and escaping and returning and being kidnapped forever without returns: in short, living.

A dedication to all those who cannot do without love.

Si è arrivati sull’eco di una grande emozione.
Una rara intensa fisicità in scena, astratta e vera a un tempo, essenziale e pure carica di energia comunicativa sincera, immediata.
Chi era solitamente più critico sembrava doversi arrendere alla perfezione d’insieme, a quel magico equilibrio di dolce sensibilità e forza prorompente tra i dolori dell’infanzia, l’ansia di crescere, le cicatrici che non si potranno mai cancellare.
E unanime è stata la risposta.
 
It takes you to where deep emotions resonate.
Rare, intense physicality onstage, both abstract and true at the same time. Minimalistic yet full of sincere, direct communicative energy.
Those normally more critical seemed to have to surrender to the perfect harmony, the magical equilibrium of sweet sensitivity and explosive strength representing the pains of childhood, the anxiety to grow up and the scars that can never fade.
